Jeff Prace - Split
There is nothing to see. There is everything to hear.
The spectator listens to a song from a broken pair of headphones; the song is only playing from one earbud. The magician holds an earbud in each hand, and with a movement, causes the song to jump to the previously damaged earbud.
The spectator again listens to the song. The magician pushes the sound waves from one earbud to the other, and the spectator hears the song jump inside their head. It is a feeling unlike anything else.
To finally repair the headphones, the magician snaps his fingers and the headphones audibly restore. This unique effect all happens inside the spectator’s head.
As a bonus, Jeff shows how to alter a spectator’s memory. After hearing a freely chosen song, the memory is erased and replenished with a new one.
Any device that plays music is compatible with Split, and you can use any type of earbuds. Be inspired with this valuable principle.
